Somehow on a sunny afternoon in the middle of the week and in the middle of harvest we managed to squeeze in a family session with the Balmain's.

The kids, full of energy, offered me a tour around the place their Dad has called home for over 40 years. They showed me their tree climbing skills and where to look for tadpoles before a short drive up the road to show me what Dad has been up to lately.

Endless fields of wheat, tipped with the golden afternoon light provided the perfect backdrop for this family of four and through the lens the future of farming for this family looks to be in good hands, even if they are only little.
