- SHARING STORIES THROUGH WORDS AND IMAGES -

You will go a long way to find two more down-to-earth, genuine and 'all round' great people than Kel and Wal.
Amongst the red dirt and dust of Outback Queensland, a persistent young bloke travelling through crossed paths with a local Midwife, and I guess you can say the rest is history.
Leading up to their 'big day' and even just hours before walking down the aisle, these two were nothing but cool, calm and collected.
Those laid back feelings were soon replaced with excitement and overwhelming emotion as they exchanged their vows surrounded by their loved ones.
And, what an absolutely fantastic group of loved ones they are blessed to call their family and friends who had travelled from as far as Longreach, Boston and the UK to share in this special day.
'Adora Downs' at Mt Tyson was the perfect fit for this relaxed country styled wedding. Great food, drinks flowed, the speeches were both heartfelt and hilarious and the dance floor was packed.
Overall, this wedding had it all; great venue, fantastic atmosphere, sentimental touches, awesome people and so much love.
On my drive home from photographing a wedding I use this time to reflect on the day and this is usually where a theme for my blog emerges.
I will openly admit that I have sat down several times to write this blog and every time, until now, I have walked away defeated with a blank screen or something boring and generic.
I was struggling to find the right words to describe what had impacted me most at this wedding; the amazing bond that these two share.
They didn't get caught up in the details of their wedding because they were too caught up in each other. The way they look at each other, the way they make each other laugh and how at home they are in each others presence is so effortless, so honest and so breathtakingly beautiful.
The fact is, there are no words that come close to describing the strength and magnitude of a love like that - so I won't try, you'll just have to take my word for it.
Kel and Wal, thank you for the opportunity to capture so many beautiful moments, it was a privilege and an absolute joy to share in your wedding day.
