- SHARING STORIES THROUGH WORDS AND IMAGES -
6 decades of Togetherness
720 months of Laughter
3,130 weeks of Happiness
21,195 days of Friendship
525,960 hours of Joy
31,557,600 minutes of Love
1,893,456,000 seconds of Wonderful Memories
I guess Mother Nature figured that reaching 60 years of marriage, these two deserved a break in the weather and was kind enough to ease up the rain and even put on a little sunshine for an hour or so to commemorate this special occasion.
When these two look each other, it is with a combination of the excitement of young love, the comfort of a lifelong partner and the trust of a best friend.
They hold hands without prompting and even whilst surrounded by the chatter, laughter and movement of their large family, they are easily lost in their own little world.
During the session, I catch them watching on silently. Their eyes light up as they look back at their children who are now adults, who have gone on to have their own families and their grandchildren with their busy young families.
As they turn to look back down the road, smiling back at them are a group of faces bursting with respect, admiration but mostly love only a family can share.
