What a day!
Such a beautifully planned day and a true reflection of these high school sweethearts.
There were no nerves on show from either of these two as they prepared for their big day. A casual game of darts and a few beers with the boys before suiting up and just up the road, the girls enjoyed a relaxing morning of hair, make up and lots of laughter before stepping out looking gorgeous from head to toe.
Kate was a vision in her stunning gown. Completing her outfit with three very special and treasured items; a veil worn by her mother on her own wedding day and a brooch from each of her grandmothers.
No wedding ceremony was going to be complete without all their family and friends in attendance, including their two beloved dogs sporting matching handmade bowties.
Underneath the shade of a gum tree, there was laughter, a few tears and emerging through a shower of rose petals was Mr & Mrs Maguire.
Heading out to a relatives home for some photos with the wedding party nothing and nowhere seemed out of bounds; Kate took on any terrain in her heels and dress and if there was any sign of struggle, Charles would simply through her over his shoulder and off they went.
The wet weather earlier in the week may have relocated the reception to drier ground but it definitely did not dampen the party.
Beneath the glow of festoon lighting and the Dalby night skies, guests enjoyed a few heartfelt and hilarious speeches (special mention to the best man for his impressive speech, unfortunately he lost a bet later in the night resulting in an impromptu haircut). Drinks and conversation flowed but it was the dance floor that was the place to be. It was going off!
If you ever needed a rent-a-crowd to get your party started, this is the crowd to do it.
Congratulations Kate and Charles, it was an absolute pleasure to capture your special day and I wish you every happiness for the future.
