Family; where life begins and love never ends - unknown
If you were to look up marriage in the dictionary you would find something like this; the legally or formally recognised union of two people as partners in a personal relationship.
Pretty clinical and uninspiring - absolutely nothing like the marriage and wedding of Kristy and Nathan.
Beyond the legalities and formal union of these two was beauty, emotion and love, so much love.
From the comfort of the charming cottages surrounded by picturesque views on the outskirts of Kingaroy the day begins. A mixture of chatter, laughter, hair dryers and a cute new nephew fill the air as family and friends prepare the bride for her big day.
On the other side of town it is a different scene with calls of 'Pull' followed by gun shots as the boys filled in the morning at the Kingaroy Clay Target Club under the guidance of some local experts.
The idyllic 'Dusty Hill Winery' was the location for these two to exchange their vows in front of their family and friends and become Mr & Mrs & Maddie.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, there is such a special element that children bring to a ceremony.
'Dusty Hill' had so much to offer with vineyards, views and even a couple of photo-bombing horses. These two, along with their bridal party were so much fun to photograph.
Back at the reception it was all about great food, good tunes and fantastic company - plus the bar seemed pretty popular.
Speeches were a trigger for lots of laughs and heartfelt tears expressing the pride, love and happiness for the newlyweds.
If this wedding was any indication of what the future holds for this family, then they are in for a lifetime of love and good times surrounded by a strong and supportive network of family and friends.
Thank you Kristy, Nathan and Maddie for choosing me to capture this special time in your lives.
