- SHARING STORIES THROUGH WORDS AND IMAGES -
6.05.2017
The weather was perfect and this couple were perfectly relaxed as they prepared for their afternoon ceremony at the historic 'Jondaryan Woolshed'.
To be honest, the family and friends of this English Groom may disagree on the 'perfect' weather with the Australian heat proving a little too warm for the UK visitors.
Every detail of the day was planned beautifully with so much love and thought put into every aspect; a grandmothers hanky, engraved necklaces, cufflinks passed throughout the family and images of loved ones who could not attend.
Beneath the shade of a large gum tree with the afternoon sun on their faces and surrounded by their nearest and dearest from around the globe, best friends Mel and Craig were married.
As they headed off by horse and cart as husband and wife, the newlyweds soaked up the joy and excitement surrounding them alongside their wedding party before heading to their reception with a fire twirling welcome.
With full bellies and drinks topped up, the MC entertained the crowd and speeches kicked off. There were roars of laughter throughout the guests, tears rolled following heartfelt words and goosebumps from an intense and passionate 'Haka'.
Celebrations continued well into the night with a touching first dance, a competitive bouquet toss and plenty of 'moves' from guests on the packed dance floor.
Mel and Craig, it was such a pleasure sharing in your special day and can't wait to hear how that football team is coming along.
